May 14, 15, 16 - Spring Grove Sytende Mai Fest-Be an honorary Norwegian in nearby town of Spring Grove, MN (The oldest Norweigian settlement outside of Norway). May 28, 29, 30, 31 - Memorial Day Holiday We open our heated pool on Saturday. Come to our 'Get To Know Your New Camping Neighbor' progressive diner. We will also have volleyball tournament, horseshoe tournament, Kids games, wagon rides and more. June Caledonia Farmer's Market every Saturday 8-2 & Sunday 10-2. June 1 - June 18 - School's Out! Summer Season Begins! Celebrate the end of the school year by burning your old school papers in your campfire.  We will have activities and the pool is heated.   June 18, 19, 20 - Father's Day/Summer Soltice Bring a milk carton for the father/child boat building and racing in the Romin' Regatta.   All ages and experience welcome. June 12 & 13, Caledonia Founders Day Family Fun Fest June 25, 26, 27, - Christmas In June Santa makes a rare summer appearance. This will be your last chance to see Santa for six months as he visits every campsite with treats and a jolly laugh.  June 19, Houston Nature Center Summer Soltice Celebration June 20, Houston County Airport Fly-In Breakfast July Caledonia Farmer's Market every Saturday 8-2 & Sunday 10-2. July 2, 3, 4, 5 - Independence Day Holiday Celebrate America.  Enjoy 'Family Fun Fest' and the best fireworks in the county at nearby Eitzen.  The volleyball and horseshoe tournaments are huge favorites this weekend. July 2-4 Eitzen Family Fun Fest & Fireworks July 17, 18, 19 - Camp Winnebago Benefit, sponsored by the LaCrosse Area Coulee Chordsmen.   Barbershopper Singers from near and far gather for this 'Poor Man's International'. Enjoy Saturday night's competition.   Pancake breakfast and ecumenical service on Sunday. July 23, 24, 25 - Americana Weekend Wear your straw hats and gather the lawn chairs and blankets for our al fresco Americana performance on Saturday evening. Our bluegrass band will entertain on Saturday evening. July 31 -August 1, 2 - Sweet Corn Weekend Bring your plate and appetite to celebrate the harvest with our giant sweet corn feed.  We provide the area's sweetest corn and butter.   August 18 - 22 - Houston County Fair Just five miles away, you can enjoy the excitement of the county fair by day and relax in the glow of your campfire by night. Caledonia - Houston County Fair Aug. 19-23 August 28, La Crescent Community Wide Rummage Sale September Caledonia Farmer's Market every Saturday 8-2 & Sunday 10-2. September 3, 4, 5, 6  - Labor Day Holiday The pool is still open. Join in the volleyball and horseshoe tournaments and kid games throughout the weekend. We'll host a night of BINGO.  Join us for summers last camping hooray.  (3 night minimum) September 17, 18, 19  - Halloween Mark the beginning of Fall in your costume at the Halloween Party and Torch Light Wagon Ride. Prizes will be awarded for the best costume.  Bring candy and a camera for the trick-or-treaters. September 24, 25, 26 - Soup Dinner Bring a pot of your favorite soup, bouls and utinsels for your group, and a copy of the recipe to share.  Watch for a copy of the 2010 DRP soup collection sometime during the winter when it will warm your stomach and heart. September 4, Caledonia city wide garage sales September 9 - 13,   La Crescent Apple Festival September 25 -  October 3 , October Fest, La Crosse October October  2 - Spring Grove Uffdafest.
